We are delighted to announce that Midlothian and Glasgow have joined our list of Volunteer Centres licensed to deliver the Volunteer Friendly award. This means that including Dundee there are now seven areas of Scotland offering groups working with volunteers the opportunity to demostrate just how Volunteer Friendly they are.
During October staff from Volunteer Centres in Fife, Stirling, Edinburgh and the Lothians will be undertaking the assessor training with Glasgow and East Renfrewshire hot on their heels with a session in early December.
We are already planning more Start-up sessions for the new year, so if you are interested please contact us at Volunteer Friendly (Scotland). Better still, check to see if anyone in your area is already and licensed and linked, so that you can contact your local centre direct!
