The Volunteer Friendly Award

We involve volunteers because they are motivated, have fun helping and tell us it lets them give something back to the community. Volunteers are crucial to Brae.

As Volunteer Friendly rolls out across Scotland, groups in East Lothian (Strive Befriending Service) and East Renfrewshire (the BefriendER Project) were the first to achieve the Award outside Dundee, closely followed by organisations in Perth and Kinross (PKAVS) and Angus (Angus Independent Advocacy).  Thirty-two organisations in Scotland now hold the Volunteer Friendly Award.
